Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 10, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Eora collects, uses, and protects information when you use our time tracking, project management, invoicing, and QuickBooks integration features.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication details, workspace membership, and profile settings. We also process business data you enter into Eora, including clients, projects, time entries, notes, rates, invoice previews, invoice history, and related workflow records.

3. QuickBooks Integration

If you choose to connect QuickBooks Online, Eora uses OAuth to request authorization from Intuit. We may store access and refresh tokens needed to maintain the connection. Eora may access accounting data necessary to support the integration, such as company connection details, customers, product/service items, and invoice information required to create draft invoices from selected time entries.

Eora uses QuickBooks data only to provide the connected invoicing functionality you request. You can disconnect QuickBooks from the application settings.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to operate the service, authenticate users, manage workspaces, track time, organize projects, prepare invoice previews, create QuickBooks draft invoices, maintain invoice history, provide support, improve reliability, and protect the security of the application.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, operate, or support Eora, and with third-party integrations you authorize, such as QuickBooks Online. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for protecting your account credentials.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain business records, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of account or workspace data where applicable.

8. Your Choices

You may update certain account and workspace information in the application. You may disconnect QuickBooks from settings, which stops future access through that integration. You may also stop using Eora at any time.

9. International Use

Eora may process information in locations where our hosting, infrastructure, or service providers operate. By using Eora, you understand that information may be processed outside your local jurisdiction.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

11. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy may be directed to the Eora team through the contact channel provided with your account or website.
